Course Information
The GWO Advanced Rescue Training Refresher (ART-R) course is designed for wind industry professionals who have previously completed the GWO ART modules and need to renew their certification. This refresher training enhances and reinforces rescue techniques used in wind turbine environments through a combination of theoretical learning and hands-on practical scenarios. The course is split into two key modules: Hub, Spinner & Inside Blade Rescue Refresher and Nacelle, Tower & Basement Rescue Refresher. Upon successful completion, participants will receive updated certification valid for two years, ensuring continued compliance and preparedness for emergency rescue operations in WTGs (Wind Turbine Generators).

This course is for wind industry personnel who are already GWO ART-certified and are required to lead or assist in advanced rescue operations in turbine environments. It is suitable for those selected by their employer to maintain competence in high-risk rescue scenarios.
The refresher includes two modules:

The GWO ART-R certificate is valid for two years. You can renew it up to 60 days before expiry, and if completed early, the additional time is carried over to the new certificate—so you won’t lose any validity by renewing ahead of time.
