The GWO Working at Height (inc. Refresher) and GWO Manual Handling courses are essential training modules for anyone starting or advancing a career in the wind and renewable energy industry. These Global Wind Organisation-accredited programmes equip delegates with the knowledge and hands-on skills to safely perform work at height and carry out manual handling tasks in turbine environments. Both modules blend theory and practical training, ensuring participants are fully prepared for real-world offshore and onshore operations. Upon completion, delegates receive GWO certification, valid for two years.

These courses are required for anyone working in the wind energy sector, particularly those operating offshore or in elevated turbine environments. They are also ideal for individuals starting a career in the industry or renewing expiring GWO certificates.

Participants must bring photographic ID, work boots, and their WINDA ID. Both courses involve practical assessments and multiple-choice tests. Upon successful completion, delegates receive a GWO certificate, valid for two years. These modules form part of the full GWO Basic Safety Training package.
